Announcements:

Jan 29, 6 p.m. – Central United Church, Unit 7 of the UCW will be hosting a Lasagna Supper.  Tickets are $12 and are available at the church office (705-253-2364), any member of Unit 7 or Marj McDonald (705-946-6868).

Feb 2, 10 am – Bar River United Church Sunday School’s Skating Party – weather permitting.  THIS IS A JOINT SERVICE – NO SERVICE IN ECHO BAY!   After the Children’s Story those wishing to skate will walk over to the rink.  Skating until 11a.m.  Helmets required for all kids.  For safety reasons, no children will be permitted on the ice in boots.  The congregation is invited to join the skaters for lunch in the rink building after the service.  Lunch will be Sloppy Joes and Pizza.  Hot chocolate, juice, tea and coffee will also be served. Donations of a few cookies or squares for dessert would be most appreciated.  Hope to see you there!

Feb 8, 9-11am –Valentine Coffee Hour, Bazaar & Bake Sale at Emmanuel United Church.  Free Will Offering.

March 1, 6pm – Pasta Dinner for Camp MacDougall at the Verdi Hall, 455 Queen St W.  See poster for details.
